Ikhoor is the art and design studio practice of Daniel David Kent.
The work is conceptually-based and ranges from brand identity, campaign development, publication design, and art direction, to odd visual experiments, object design, and autonomous artistic projects across a variety of platforms and disciplines. The conversations had and the relationships built inform and evolve the process. Depending on the scale of the project, he works independently or together with a talented network of specialists.
Most recently, Daniel was the Creative Director at Urban Outfitters where he lead teams of graphic designers, production and operations managers, and copywriters in all creative output both internal and external for the brand. This includes, but is not limited to, brand identity management and evolution, seasonal omni direction, label and trim packages, weekly digital marketing, publications, packaging, internal brand development, exterior and interior signage, special events and activations, product development, partnerships, and marketing. Before UO, Daniel was a design ACD at 160over90 where he oversaw expansive branding projects for clients in higher education, athletics, entertainment, and consumer goods.
Daniel also operates Ceremonious People, a sporadic publishing imprint since 2008 that produces small editions in collaboration with designers, artists, photographers, writers, and printers.
